What is a certified translation?

Anyone can translate online these days using common translation tools? That's true, but it's not always the right approach. A certified translation, i.e., one that's officially valid with government offices, authorities, regional courts, and the police, requires more than just the internet. It requires sworn professional translators who have the appropriate authorization and are authorized to stamp their stamp on your translation.

A certified translation has official validity and bears a corresponding stamp confirming the complete and correct translation of the source text.

What are sworn translators?

Sworn translators (in our case, in Germany) are authorized translators who have taken a general oath before a regional court, higher regional court, or internal affairs authority. They are certified and have the necessary authorization and qualifications to translate and certify content into specific languages.

Does Belaubigung24 also offer the obtaining of an apostille?

We do not offer apostille services. An apostille is a specific form of authentication used in international document exchange. However, you can usually easily apply for one yourself. You can do this at the regional court where the translator is sworn in. The translator's stamp indicates which regional court this is.

If your documents already have an apostille, we will of course translate it as well.
